FRENCH PANORAMAS

Dreaming of Paris? Just imagine yourself standing on the Pont des Arts at dawn; before you, the rose-gold rising sun illuminates Pont Neuf and Île de la Cité, and turns the river into shimmering satin. It’s a view one could never tire of.

Or perhaps your thoughts are wandering to Provence, to the lookout point beneath the hilltop village of Gordes, the peaceful yet magnificent landscape of the Luberon spread at your feet.

Quite often the best views of Paris and France are sweeping and majestic and cannot be adequately represented in a standard photo format.

So we have created a new way to bring your favorite dreams and memories of Paris and France to reality so that you can have them in your life every day: panoramas on canvas. These are very large canvases (up to 5 feet in length and nearly 2 feet in height) of some of the best scenes that Paris and France have to offer. We have added a special section of the Parisian Moments shop devoted entirely to these P A N O R A M A S..

The size and the clarity of detail will make you feel that you are right there. You can walk into your dining room, living room or bedroom and there before you stretches a beautiful panoramic view showing the entire gardens of the Château de Villandry, or the whole of the old town of Menton on the Mediterranean. You will easily immerse yourself in the scene and feel you are actually looking out of an upstairs window in the Château de Villandry over the meticulously laid out and cared-for gardens, or standing on the pier at Menton looking back at the town. Each image has so much fine detail that you will discover something new every time you look at it.

Have a look at the detail in this image.

Here are some more panoramas of Paris and France (not yet listed in the Parisian Moments shop but all available in the same three sizes, 10x20, 12x36 and 20x60.)

COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS WELCOME!

You can see the panoramas we have already listed in the shop here. They are available for immediate purchase. You will find the details in each listing. But we have many more images available, as you can see from this blog post, and you can choose any of these. Write and let us know which you are interested in. If you are looking for something specific but don’t see it in the shop or the blog post, feel free to email us about it.

The canvases are listed with US shipping rates. If you are in Canada and would like to order a canvas, please contact us first and we will give you a quote for the shipping which is unfortunately a bit more expensive than for US addresses. If you are not in North America and would like to order a canvas, contact us first letting us know where you live, and we will let you know of availability in your area and let you know the price.

If these prove to be popular, we are considering trying out vertical panoramas (some people call them “vertoramas” but we refer to them as vertical panoramas): tall and skinny canvases of the Eiffel Tower, the Cathedral in Strasbourg or Chartres and so on. Good idea? The sizes would be the same as these we’ve mentioned but with vertical orientation. Please let us know what you think.

We would love to hear back from you with any ideas, comments, suggestions or questions. You can email us or leave a comment on the blog post or both.

Thanks very much for reading our blog post. We will respond promptly to your comments and questions.
